“I am a parent of two children, one of which has special educational needs and disabilities. I  became a member of HPCN many years ago when I was having some difficulties finding the right services for my daughter. I attended my local Get Together meeting other parents and carers. I then became a Parent Representative attending participation meetings and  then in 2019 I started my own Get Together in Fareham and Gosport and a little while later in Havant.

Over the last few years I have watched HPCN grow and I am so excited to have the opportunity to continue working with HPCN and the wonderful team of parent carer representative’s to ensure the voice’s of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities, and their parents and carers are heard.”

Hampshire Parent Carer Network (HPCN) offers parent carers of children and young people aged 0-25 with an additional need (diagnosed or not) or disability the opportunity to tell the Local Authority, Health and other services, what life is really like. email or visit our YouTube page.
