    Join us for an insightful and relatable session with Winckworth

    This webinar is designed for parents and carers of young people with SEND who wish to learn more about mental capacity. It will explore the guiding principles and key issues surrounding mental capacity, the Court of Protection, one off decision making, deputyships versus LPAs and capacity in the context of the SEND Tribunal.

    It will be hosted by Kevin McManamon, a Partner at Winckworth Sherwood LLP. Kevin has nearly 20 years’ experience representing children and young people with SEND. He is ranked in both the Legal 500 and Chambers UK. In 2024 the Law Society awarded him a “Legal Hero” award for his work representing children and young people with disabilities
