Bridging the Gap : Vocational Profiling workshop - Supporting Young People to Explore Their Future

Bridging the Gap : Vocational Profiling workshop - Supporting Young People to Explore Their Future

    14th July 2026

with a Vocational Profiling Adviser, Hampshire Futures team

    VOCATIONAL PROFILING:
Supporting Young People to Explore Their Future

Join us for an introduction to Vocational Profiling – a person-centred, strengths-based approach that helps young people understand:

    • What they are good at
    • What they enjoy and value
    • What support helps them succeed (and being clear on this so they can start to advocate for these needs and adjustments).
    • Their aspirations and goals for the future

Vocational Profiling is a tool that is particularly useful as a transition passport, and ensures that future plans are based on the whole young person – not just their qualifications.

This workshop is designed for parents and carers who would like to learn more about how Vocational Profiling can support successful transitions and Preparing for Adulthood.

If you have any questions please email: BTG@hpcn.org.uk
