Future in Mind

Hampshire Parent Carer Network (HPCN) in partnership with Hampshire CAMHS deliver monthly meetings across the county. This is a great opportunity to meet other parents & carers and hear about their lived experience, of supporting a child or young person with mental health and/or emotional difficulties. At meetings clinical experts deliver talks on a variety of topics.

March 2025:
  • 4th March 11-1pm – A Free face to face Session with Viv Dawes, on Autistic Burnout Recovery in the New Forest –  – Join Viv Dawes (she/they), an autistic and ADHD advocate with 25 years of experience, for a powerful session on understanding and supporting your autistic child or teen. Learn neuro affirming strategies to manage burnout, improve communication, and create more inclusive environments.

  • 26th March 10-11am Future in mind Understanding Self Harm in Neurodivergent individuals – a presentation for parent carers , book your tickets via Ticket Tailor
  • 27th March 10-11am – Parent Carer information and resource online session with Tourettes Action –   Lucy Toghill – TA Education Manager will be delivering the session for us . Lucy joined TA after dedicating 15 years to teaching in mainstream primary schools. With a son who has Tourette’s, she was motivated to make a positive impact for others facing similar challenges. As our Education Manager, she develops and oversees our CPD-accredited educational training programme. Lucy provides support to those navigating difficulties within the education system and will consult with schools and education professionals to enhance their understanding of Tourette syndrome. – **This session will be recorded by Lucy so if you are unable to make the session please book onto it as the recording can only be shared with those who have booked to attend **
