Future in Mind

Hampshire Parent Carer Network (HPCN) in partnership with Hampshire CAMHS deliver monthly meetings across the county. This is a great opportunity to meet other parents & carers and hear about their lived experience, of supporting a child or young person with mental health and/or emotional difficulties. At meetings clinical experts deliver talks on a variety of topics.

February 2025:
  • 13th February  11am-1pm   – Future in Mind – an ONLINE Workshop with – VIV DAWES   –Viv Dawes (she/they), a late-diagnosed autistic and ADHD advocate, trainer, and author with 25 years of experience, will offer a supportive and insightful session for parent carers and young people. This workshop will focus on understanding and supporting your autistic child or teen in a neuro-affirming way. What to Expect:
    • Practical advice for understanding your child’s or teen’s neurodivergent experiences
    • Strategies for preventing and managing autistic burnout in children and teens
    • Neuro-affirming approaches to communication, support, and self-advocacy
